Born out of passion and a love for this community, The Station is the reimagined version of what was once The Loop Brewing Company—a cherished local hangout. In 2024, Jesse Pierson and his fiancée McKenzie Schmitz took over the reins, bringing with them a fresh vision, a deep commitment to quality, and a nod to the rich history that this space has come to represent.

Our building itself has its own story to tell. The Station resides in a historic structure that was once an old ice house—a vital part of McCook’s past. For decades, this building was the site where local ice was stored and distributed, helping to keep homes and businesses cool before refrigeration became widespread. The space is filled with character, and we’re proud to honor its legacy while giving it a modern twist. When you step inside, you’re not just entering a restaurant—you’re walking into a piece of McCook history.
